Directions to The Farm & Delivery Locations

 

We enjoy having customers come to the farm to pick up their orders, but it is very important that you call before coming out. We are often away from the house or at one of the other farms. If you call in advance, we will set up an appointment time for someone to be here to meet and greet you.
Our farm is located an hour east of Nashville, just 7 miles off Interstate 40.
Pick up hours are 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday-Friday, Saturday by appointment only.
Please remember to call 48 hours in advance to set up an appointment for a farm pick up!

DIRECTIONS TO PEACEFUL PASTURES

from Nashville: Take I-40 east toward Knoxville to exit #258. Go south toward Gordonsville .2-.3 mile, then turn left at the flashing yellow light onto Hwy. 141. Follow 141 6.8-7.0 miles to "Cowan Valley Lane" on the right. Turn right onto "Cowan Valley Lane." It is a one lane gravel road and it dead ends on our property. It is 3/4 mile back to the house and we are the only people who live on it. There is a bright blue sign with a white fuzzy sheep above a fire engine red mail box.
Directions to Peaceful Pastures from Knoxville: Take I-40 west toward Nashville to exit #268. Follow signs to "Center Hill Dam." After you cross the dam, turn right at the first road, Hwy 141. Follow it as it winds through river bottom and pass through the SMALL community of Lancaster. Approximately 1 mile past Lancaster, you will see "Cowan Valley Lane" on the left. Turn left onto "Cowan Valley Lane." It is a one lane gravel road and it dead ends on our property. It is 3/4 mile back to the house and we are the only people who live on it. Directions to Peaceful Pastures from Smithville: Take Hwy 56 North to Interstate 40 Westbound and follow instructions from Knoxville. Or take Hwy 70 West to Hwy 96. Turn right onto 96. Follow 96 to Hwy 264. Turn Left onto 264 and follow it through the small community of Temperance Hall, approximately 1.5 miles beyond Temperance Hall turn right onto Old Lancaster Rd (there's a sign there for the town of Lancaster). Follow Old Lancaster Rd until it dead ends on Hwy 141 (approximately 3 miles) turn left onto 141 go .3 mile to Cowan Valley Lane. Turn Left onto Cowan Valley Lane and go 3/4 mile back to house. There is a bright blue sign with a white fuzzy sheep above a fire engine red mail box.

NASHVILLE DELIVERY LOCATIONS

J. Percy Priest Dam - The Nashville drop off location is on the east side of Nashville, at J. Percy Priest Dam. From I-40 East Exit #219. If you are traveling from I-40 you would turn left across from the visitors center (do not cross the Dam). Go down hill to the LOWER lower parking lot of the J. Percy Priest Dam. NOT THE VISITORS CENTER.

St. Henry's Church - Bellevue, I-40  - Exit #196, south to church and school on right

East Nashville Farmers Market - At the Freewilll Baptist Church, corner of Russell and 10th ( 2 blocks behind the Turnip Truck).

West Nashville Farmer's Market - at Richland Park, intersection of 46th and Charlotte Streets.

Linden Corner - Corner of Hillsboro Rd. & Sharondale Dr. (1 block from Interstate I-440 in the West Nashville area). 

Franklin Farmers Market - From I-65 North or South, take I-65 to the Cool Springs Blvd. West (68B) exit.  Stay on Cool Springs Blvd. until it dead ends @ Mack Hatcher Parkway.  Turn right @ the stoplight, turn left on Franklin Rd. (1st stoplight).  The Factory is about 1 mile down Franklin Rd. on your left.  Watch for the big water tower with the Factory logo.

Cookeville Delivery Location
For customers wishing to pick up their orders in Cookeville, we will leave them for you at The Good Shepherd Health Food Store on Willow Avenue, across from Save-A-Lot and next door to Subway. An invoice will be in the bag with your order-pay us, not The Good Shepherd. As Frank, the owner, has generously allowed us to do this, please pick your orders up by the close of business on Monday.
