ALL PERISHABLE PRODUCTS MUST SHIP VIA FED EX  SECOND                                 DAY OR FED EX GROUND.

U.S. POSTAL SERVICE SHIPPING IS FOR BATH AND FLEECE PRODUCTS ONLY!

Please be aware: The amount quoted for shipping is an estimate; the actual prices will depend upon the final weight of your order, your zip code, and current fuel prices. The exact amount is not known until the order is packed, weighed and a Fed Ex shipping label is generated. In general, these estimates are within +/- 15% of the actual cost.

Shipping coolers:  We cannot know all of the charges until we actually send the order.  We have 7 different sizes of coolers, and we place your order in the smallest cooler that will accommodate your products; obviously, different size orders require different sizes (and prices) of coolers. Cooler prices range from $7-$17 dollars.  The cooler price is calculated into the shipping cost after the order is processed for shipment.

Gel Packs and Dry Ice: Gel packs and dry ice are used to keep products cold for your quality and safety assurance. The Gel Pack price is calculated into the shipping cost after the order is processed for shipment.

Order Changes:  We are happy to make additions to your order right up until the shipping or delivery time, but deletions from your order will result in a 20% restocking fee.

Fed Ex Second Day:  Our preferred method of shipping
Click here for a calendar with our shipping dates.

Fed Ex Ground option: We have tried to find a more affordable option for shipping our products, and it appears we may have finally succeeded. Nothing is perfect, and this is no exception, but it does provide a less expensive option, but please read below and understand the risks.
The Pluses: Substantially less expensive than the Fed Ex Second Day we currently use—about 50% less. Fed Ex tracking is still the best. You can track on line where your package is at any given time.
The Minuses: Delivery is not guaranteed within a specific time frame. Perishables are not insured.
The shelf life of dry ice is 3 days maximum, therefore, ground shipping is really only practical if you live in a states that adjoin Tennessee.
The Gamble: We cannot insure the product. If it arrives late and/or in unsound condition, it will not be refunded or replaced. The choice, the money and the decision are yours. If you order by Fed Ex Ground and the package thaws and begins to leak, Fed Ex WILL discard the package without notice. Fed Ex Ground is clear that the delivery date is estimated, but in no way guaranteed, and that perishable products are not insured against spoilage due to delayed delivery. However, we have unfortunately discovered that Fed Ex Ground will not issue refunds even if packages of perishables are damaged due to their mishandling or failure to attempt delivery/directions.  A customer placed a $300 order and elected to have it shipped Ground, against our advice. The truck driver ran over the package, destroying the contents. Fed Ex Ground refused to pay the claim on the grounds that as perishables are not insured, no matter what the circumstances. In summary, we will ship by Ground if a customer insists, but the buyer assumes full responsibility for payment in the event of damage, non delivery, delayed delivery or spoilage.

Please note that if you do not choose the correct shipping method for the products you select there may be a delay in processing your order.  If you are not sure which method to choose, feel free to contact the farm at 615-683-4291
