Peaceful Pastures Pastured Poultry
"Free Range" only indicates animals have access to the outdoors--it does not mean they are on pasture! We proudly produce PASTURED poultry!!
These birds graze our pesticide free pastures in the fresh air and sunshine. These are humanely raised animals. They are never confined or force fed. USDA inspected.
The chickens receive a blend of feed that is free from soy, bone meal, and blood meal that is a custom mix for our birds; it is not a commercial feed (contains no hormones, no antibiotics, no animal by-products) and is compiled from locally grown grains. The dressed weight of these birds is 4-6 pounds.
Turkeys are available seasonally! They are a great tasty holiday treat or any event with several hungry people! The turkeys are flash frozen and we will provide each customer with a sheet of brining and cooking instructions at the time of pick up. Turkeys are produced under the same conditions as our chickens. Estimated weight range of 16-22 pounds. We also offer (just) turkey breasts.
